My home in cyberspace had come to an end.
I've been living in this cyberspace world for almost four years now. I created a world of my own where i speak out everything that is on my mind. I can't imagine how this site serve as my four year life's album where i could take a look back on what had happened to me in that four years of my life.
I laugh everytime i see old pictures of me. I have to admit it, I am man with many faces. My hair shares a lot of contribution to me when it comes to my looks, with that i started to realized to stick with my messy long thick hair.
My site shows me how my pop rock music turned into my indies now. I grow, together with my music genre. That is one of the reason why am leaving this site, am a grown up now and this right here, is just a memory of my teenhood days.
Goodbye. much love to all. X

Electric Guitar Vintage Camera Polaroid Backpack Book
Yes. Those are my shots :)
|
Minolta 1970's
Pops old camera. He mentioned me that he bought it way back on his early college years. Minolta got suitcase and two more extra lenses.
Polaroid Sun 600
Pops polaroid camera. He told me that this one is on mint condition. Now am looking for a place where i can get polaroid films, heard that there are only last few packs left.
My friends and I went out for a movie last saturday. They were planning to watch Remember Me and i didn't bother to complain since i am down to anything... even though i've tried to convinced my friend, Ramona in the car on the way to the movie house, to watch How to train your dragon instead of Remember Me since Remember Me is a movie that is worth watching on DVD.
Stine is kinda bummed by our decision because of she is planning to watch How to train your dragon with her boo. She convinced us to change the movie to I Love You, Phillip Morris. we're down, since the three of us always watch animated films together, we all thought that it's time to watch a movie that is appropriate with our age. I heard that the movie is nice, it's comedy and i really wanted to laugh that night, so am very down to it. Unfortunately there were only few seats left, and we don't like the available seats so we've come to a decision to watch How to train your dragon since this is really the movie that we all planned to watch before the night and before the remember me,
It was a great movie. It made me want to own a dragon. (don't worry, i don't believe in dragons, it just that i want one!) Dragons are cool, especially toothless, what a cute dragon.
It's so funny that one of the characters in the movie is named Astrid. (made us missed our friend!) Astrid the viking and Astreid our friend has resemblance, thin, one sided hair and a droopy eyes just like our friend, except that she's feisty! Astrid made the movie more interesting to watch. I was totally upset of the ending though, they should've done that to hiccups, that's just sad. I can't spoil it here, you should watch it!
We almost won the dragon egg hunting contest after the movie. The Dragon egg was placed in the seats one row away from us! Guess we're not that lucky. tsk. such a bummer. I want the price.
Here's a trivia for you about the movie.
Toothless the dragon was actually modeled after the character Stitch (Lilo & Stitch). Now that figures! we thought of a pokemon at first. i thought about Dragonair, they kinda look alike.
Fact, One of the three pictures above is a hoax! So who do you think is the one who's not holding the camera?
Too folk, but still, i like it.
"and my hand told my heart let love grow. but my heart told my head this time no, this time no."
Monday is almost over and i'm spending its last minute in front of my webcam. I'm bored. You know how boredom roll.
I was having a hard time connecting to our wireless connection. Our broadband got cut, I blame my mom, she flied somewhere without paying the bill, am just glad that we got two connections at home, am somehow surviving with this just Good Signal Strength connection. It changes to Very Good Signal Strength eveytime i step away from my computer chair. Very Cool.
My ipod is on shuffle now. Believe it or not, i know every song in my ipod. It's my ipod. DAH. but seriously i really do, play a song in just 5 seconds or less i can guess the song and artist correctly. I know every song, artist, album and even cover art in my ipod, compared to other iPod owner, they just download songs for listening purposes.
Wow. I brag to much. moving on...
Looking at the photo above, i took those shots because of two reasons 1. Boredom 2. A new twitter headshot
make sense.
My friends brother think that twitter is for people who's trying too hard to be deep. I do get what he meant by that. and that just funny because it's true, somehow.
Here's my twitter page, a place where i express my thoughts either it's a smart tweet or trash tweet. it'll be awesome if you follow me.
Yes. My twitter account is arbyisatrooper. People mistakenly read it as arbyisastripper. that's actually my second choice, i just stick to the trooper thing because am scared that people might follow me and ask for my service. am busy with school nowadays, no time for stripping!
I don't follow much people here. I just followed few friends and few hollywood names who has witty tweets. One of my favorite tweep peep is John Mayer, his tweets are funny. Looking at his tweets, it shows that he is a guy with a proper working brain! What i meant by proper working brain is it's in a manual mode.
I believe that our brain has two mode. Automatic and Manual.
Tweet peep with a manual mode brain tweets like this.
If i wanted to make a big impression on my first day in prison, i'd walk up and punch the smallest, oldest dude in the face. RT John Mayer
while Tweet peep with an automatic mode brain tweets like this.
I'm blogging right now. RT arbyisatrooper. wait that's me! Shame. but yeah, sometimes i do have a proper working brain!
...It's so weird that i thought of that.
It's officially tuesday now, so i guess that's it for now. peace out. | | The concert was magical.
I wasn't expecting the concert to be that big because of it's Owl City. Who would love electro pop these days? I was wrong, there were tons of people who watched the concert.
I like the crowd, it's full of young kids.
Like what i always said, I like owl city because of everytime i listen to his music i feel like a young boy.
I wasn't able to use my camera since they don't allow it. So I grabbed photos from Reshaydee flickr account. |
I got a thousand hugs from the ten thousand lightning bugs! It was awesome.
I witnessed the magical Fireflies. The story begins with the golden ticket.
Beep. Beep. I received a text message from my friend, Sheena. "Hi B, you bought tickets na? I went to malls after malls, no more tickets available na daw? I called ticket net and ticket world, pulled out na daw ang ticket ng Bigfish." Oh. Shist. I was in class that time and I was actually planning to go to the mall after that to buy tickets but since sheena informed me about that, I rushed back at home instead to call ticket net and confirm. Sheena was right there are no more tickets for the concert. Bummer. I had a bad day at school. I am really down that day, so I told myself, I need to find a way to look for that golden ticket, that’s the only thing that could make me happy that day. I need a dose of happiness. So what I did was I dialed BigFish. Ring. Ring. Me: Hey, good afternoon, I would like to ask regarding the owl city concert, I called ticket net, they told me they pulled out the tickets already? Bigfish: Yes, Sir. We no longer sell tickets na po. Me: What??? Are you sure??? even in trinoma? Bigfish: In trinoma sir, you can go at the concierge, they still give stubs but you have to purchase… (I didn’t get it. I didn't listen) Me: How about in the your main office, maybe there are still tickets? Bigfish: Sorry sir, wala na po talaga.
Moment of silence
Me: I really wanted to watch the concert...
Thinking
Bigfish: Ok sir. Hang on.
After few minutes
Bigfish: Sir someone returned their tickets but it’s gold. Me: No. I need VIP ticket. Please, I really wanted to watch the concert. What’s your name again? Bigfish: Chanda. Me: Landa? Bigfish: Chanda. Me: Oh, Shanna. Bigfish: No Sir, Chanda. Me: Oh ok, Miss Chanda. Can you please find a way to look for VIP ticket because I really wanted to watch the concert in VIP seats.
Thinking
Chanda: Ok sir, this is what will happen na lang po. I will convert this gold tickets to VIP and deliver at your place.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
Atlast! In the end i was able to get a VIP ticket.
Going to the concert venue gave me a hard time. I can’t drive all my way up to north because of it’s too far. My war car can’t handle it, so I decided to park my car in greenbelt and take the train. That was practical though, it was a quick ride and not much people that time because of the people champs fight. Thank you, Manny. I didn’t really have a problem going there but going back home, it was such a Pain. Going back, the train was jam packed. So MNL. I even walked from Ayala Station to Greenbelt parking lot. Good thing it’s Makati, I somehow enjoyed walking alone. The deserted streets, commercial lights and nice hotels were my entertainment that night. My feet were tortured, poor feet. I don’t get people that night though, everytime I ask them direction they keep on pointing at one place to another without saying if I should turn left, turn right or cross the street. Even the security, they just look at me like i disturbed them from being idle that night, they hate it. I got lost a many times because of them, great people. The best part of going to the concert was meeting my friend, Sheena. After how many years, we finally got a chance to hang here in MNL. She changed, in sort kind of good way. I honestly forgot the tone of her voice and it felt weird to hear her talking again. Hope you understand what I mean. It's hard to explain so don't make me. I also met her boyfriend, Ezra. Cool guy, he loves playing poker. We hung at 5 Cows and ate ice creams. We weren’t able to take pictures together though, too bad.
Anyway, we'll hang out soon, that time i'll make sure i take pictures of us. This is official. Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago is my favorite album of all time.
The name Bon Iver, is a play on the french "Bon Hiver" which means Good Winter. Just sharing some trivia here, moving on.
If you already understand the unconventional music, folky rhythm and deep lyrics of indie music then this one, i must say is the best indie album, next to Lungs by Florence + The Machine. The Songs Flume, Skinny Love and Creature Fear are the leading tracks in the album. 5 stars for the three tracks.
This is the bomb right here, so listen. | | Backpacking with Ramona.
My first beach this year. It was a long trip, from Las Pinas to Aplaya, Laiya. I think 3 to 4 hours travel time. Goddamnit. It was actually my second time here in laiya, first was last year.
We stayed overnight at Coco grove. A paradise resort in laiya. I like the place, really my type of resort, not much people. Haha but yeah, coconut trees, tree houses, pool, the other pool and more. |
Oh Summer, Summer
The smell of the saltwater beach Oh Summer, Summer The white sand and the bright blue sky Oh Summer, Summer The fresh air and the summer heat Oh Summer, Summer
Photographer Ramona Ann Guiua Dirty Projectors is my new found indie rock band this year. I was checking out new albums on iTunes when their cover art caught my attention.
They are known as American Experiment Rock Band. Listen to their music, you'll find out why. Click Here. The band is composed of four members, David, Amber, Angel and Brian. They used both male and female vocals in their album.
This studio album was actually released on the exact date as my birthday last year, how cool is that?
Bitte Orca is the title of their album. Bitte is german word which means Please while Orca is a name for a killer whale. Their albums artwork resembles to their 2004 released, Slave's Graves and Ballads. | | Dinner with my friends. We never miss a saturday without seeing each other. No matter how busy we are, we always still find a way to hang out.
The only unusual thing that happened this night was the building of our virtual self sims pad. I made a bachelor pad for my virtual self. |

Electric Feel by MGMT
All along the western front. People line up to receive. She got the power in her hands. To shock you like you won't believe. Saw her in the amazon. With the voltage running through her skin Standing there with nothing on. She's gonna teach me how to swim
Ooh girl. Shock me like an electric eel Baby girl. Turn me on with your electric feel
Ooh girl. Shock me like an electric eel Baby girl. Turn me on with your electric feel
All along the eastern shore. Put your circuits in the sea This is what the world is for. Making electricity You can feel it in your mind. Oh you can do it all the time Plug it in and change the world. You are my electric girl.
Ooh girl. Shock me like an electric eel Baby girl. Turn me on with your electric feel

Do what you feel now Electric feel now Do what you feel now Electric feel now | | Photography Lesson with David.
Lesson 1 and 2. The basics in photography and selective shots. I used the stones as my subject on selective shots. I know, i lack creativity.
These are mixed shots of me and my friends. We'll get better in time. |
Po was grounded. (Ok. It's not Po, maybe it's gizmo, if not it's dexter)
500 days of summer inspired tattoo (not a real one)
Master David. He's the man.
This is how i do it.
Glee Madness.
Photography lesson with David. Pictures above was taken by me and jo, but mostly by jo. I hate most of my shots, i lack creativity. Seriously, am not trying to be humble here.
Anyway, II never thought photography will be this hard, honestly, Aperture, ISO, Focus, Proper Lighting etcetera, etcetera. but yeah, more lessons to come this year so there are still more chances for me to get better. Goodluck, Goodluck.
Did you know that the first guy who taught me how to play soccer was named david, and now the guy who taught me the basics in photography was named david too! How cool is that? David's are my masters. I think. Anyway, David, not my soccer master but my photography master, taught me how to do shots manually, Yes, DSLR manual mode isn't easy. It took me hours to get what he's talking about and by the end of the day I finally learned how to take shots using it. Adjusting the exposure and aperture and stuffs.
Addition to that he also taught me The Rule of Three in photography which is basically the proper way of taking proper frames.
Where the subject should be.
How to take a perfect portrait.
What to include in the frame and what's not.
Basically, the position and the composition of the photo.
He asked me to practice selective shots which is kinda hard because of you have to be as creative as possible on this one and i only got short time to think of something out of the ordinary subjects that were available that day. In photography, creativity is really a must. | Drumming | Jan 20, '10 4:18 AM for everyone |
I've been listening to RNB these past few days but that doesn't mean that am shifting to that genre. I'm loyal to Indie music.
Florence + The Machine is best known for soul-inspired indie rock. I like this band, they have this weirdo-ness into them that not all people can understand. Well, they're popular in europe they actually got numbers of nominations this year. Hopefully they win., they deserve to get noticed. Drumming Song is my favorite song from their album Lungs. I actually had a hard time choosing a video to post here on my site. Every song that they've released was amazing,Rabbit Heart, Dog Days are Over, You've got the love, Kiss with a Fist and Drumming. Great Songs. I decided to post this one here because of the song is so dark and i can't help but to listen to it everyday. I know. Cool video huh. all of their videos were amazing too, so check it out.
Fact, Florence Welch, the vocalist, will record a song in an album that documents the life of Philippines former first lady Imelda Marcos. I don't know how does that happen but yeah, can't wait. A cup of coffee. Reading your favorite book. Driving at midnight. Sitting in the classroom waiting for your next class. plus, John Mayer's Battle Studies, perfect match. I like Battle Studies. My favorite tracks from the album are Heartbreak Warfare (Ellen Degeneres, like this one too.) Half of my heart which he collaborated with taylor swift and Who Says, the first single from the album.
I'm a huge fan of John Mayer, he's the type of artist that is effortlessly cool, like he doesn't have to do something to be cool, he's cool in his own way. He's the man.
The sun is nowhere to be seen and I am nowhere to be found.
